Making the Beijing Beef – Quick Family Idea
In a wok or frying pan, shallow-fry the marinated beef slices until golden brown—about 2 minutes per side.
Once cooked, remove the beef and drain the excess oil.
In the same lightly oiled pan, add your chopped veggies. Stir-fry over medium heat until fragrant and slightly softened—about 5 minutes.
Next, pour in the prepared sauce and mix it with the veggies. Let it simmer and reduce for 5–10 minutes over medium-high heat until slightly thickened.
Once the sauce has reduced, add the cooked beef back into the pan and toss until everything is well coated.
Turn off the heat, serve hot over rice or noodles, and enjoy!
